MANS

The MANS is a modern educational, research, and training institution, utilizing its scientific, didactic, and administrative potential. Their aim is to stand out with an attractive study programme on the international market and a diverse educational offer. They ensure that their graduates fit into the local job market but also, with the knowledge and practical skills they acquire, find their way throughout Poland and the European Union. The institution is dedicated to ensuring that the education of their graduates allows them to contribute to the social and economic development of the region and improve the general living conditions of the local community.

  • Provides an extensive range of faculties, including Nursing, Internal Security, Logistics, Construction, Agriculture, Commodity Science, and numerous postgraduate studies. Encompassing aspects of Medical, Social, and Technical Studies.
  • Intensifies cooperation within the EU and international cooperation in general. Participation in numerous training courses provides the institution with opportunities to constantly enhance its offer.
  • Holds leading positions in national rankings of higher education institutions for various aspects, including the level of education, local base, teaching staff, organization of the course of studies, publishing and research activity, student activity, and international and interuniversity exchange. At the local level, the institution coordinates numerous projects concerning Vocational Education and Training.
  • Collaborates with key organizations and authorities.
  • MANS is a highly experienced facility as it holds many conferences each year with experts from various fields, often from the international arena. Some of the recent events coordinated by the MANS are: a conference “Problems of intensification of animal production taking into account environmental protection, EU standards and production of alternative energy, including biogas”, Podlaski Plant Health Festival, a lecture “Modern information technologies in precision agriculture” and “Innovative use of monoionic silver in agriculture”.
  • It holds modern auditoriums, computer labs, computer terminals as well as laboratories and specialist object studios. Furthermore, MANS is also one of the first growers in Poland of Oxytree, a plant with climate-regulating properties that significantly improve air quality and protect the environment. The plots in which these trees grow were set up by the Academy scientists for research purposes to establish the biometric characteristics of the fastgrowing tree.
  • It is also an active organiser of conferences on sustainable agriculture, climate protection, information technology in agriculture or environmental debates. In its activities, the institution tries to sensitise students to the awareness of decisions taken, but also to present possible solutions to slow down climate change.
