UB / INAGEA is a research institute of the UIB (Balearic Islands University), located in the Balearic Islands, dedicated to agro-environmental studies and water economy. Its main mission is to generate knowledge and research capacity in this area, integrating knowledge from Plant Physiology, Agronomy, Hydrology, Chemistry, and Ecology, among others, to ensure that human activity related to the primary sector and the environment is more sustainable. Its new laboratories include research in ecophysiology, molecular biology, in vitro cultivation, biochemistry, histology, microscopy, water and sediments, and electronics.
