CIOFS – FP Piemonte ETS is a non-profit association founded in 1977. It collaborates with other 10 CIOFS regional associations, coordinated by the national Headquarters located in Roma. CIOFS, with about 230 employees, runs in the regional area of Piemonte with a regional Coordination Office in Torino and 12 qualified operative centres (for VET, guidance and placement services), based in 5 provinces (Torino, Alessandria, Vercelli, Novara, Asti) and 6 Career Guidance Centres (BIL.CO), accredited by the European Organisation FECBOP.
The regional Coordination Office, situated in Torino, is responsible for: planning, co-ordination, research and development, mobility, marketing and communication, logistics, administration and budgeting, training of trainers. Each operative centre is well-equipped with technological classrooms, innovative technical laboratories, areas for guidance and placement services, outdoor spaces for recreational activities and meetings.
Offers TRAINING for:
1. VET learners and young people (upper secondary VET under the regional system-IeFP)
2. unemployed and adult people
3. people with special needs and migrants
4. employed people
5. SMEs/Company. It is also active in Higher technical education and training courses (HTC) and Apprenticeship.
Its principal training areas: education, agri-food, catering and gastronomy, wellness and wellbeing, administration, accounting, fiscal and tax advice, environment, commerce, information technology, social care, web design and logistics.
Its main GUIDANCE and PLACEMENT SERVICES: vocational/career counselling (including skills assessment), vocational guidance training and support, transnational mobility, internships and traineeships, employment services, recruiting and job-matching services.
CIOFS interacts with a wide network of European, Italian and local partners in the development of projects and research activities.
